Vanesa Pérez-Sauquillo (Madrid, Spain 1978) is a poet, writer of children’s books and translator.
Her books of poetry have received many prestigious awards in Spain, including the Premio Ojo Crítico from Radio Nacional de España. Her poems have been selected for many poetry anthologies (Hiperión, Castalia, Cervantes Institute, University of Manchester, University of Milan…) and have been included in textbooks in Spain and Brazil. In addition, she’s been invited to give recitals at numerous universities in and outside of Spain, as well as cultural centers and poetry festivals, often accompanied by the guitarist Paul Gladis.
